"The Ring of Love" by Gill Solly

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

"The Ring of Love" is the title of a new book by Gill Solly and her husband Derrick and son James.

Gill has been a member of the group for many years and her story can be found in "The Tree of Light", published by the group in 2010.

Gill is now starting to write about her own condition, Cerebellar Ataxia, and the life she has led with this rare medical condition.

Illustrated by Gill's son James and her husband Derrick, both artists in our group, we hope this book will help other people who have beed affected by the condition. We are currently looking for funding to publish the book and encouraging Gill to start writing her story.

Our next meeting will be in late April to discuss progress of the book. l

Cerbellar Ataxia

Gill Solly, a member of our group, has had Cerebellar Ataxia since she was a child. We are gathering information about the condition with a view to publishing Gill's story with the condition. Some useful links below.

Our next meeting will focus on Cerebellar Ataxia. It was agreed that some fof our funding should go towards letting Gill produce a booklet about her condition.

Tina, Gill, Derrick and James will meet later in April 2012. Let us know if you want to come along. We will probably meet at Gill's church in Rochester.
